AfroRemote is a simple, transparent jobs board built to help job seekers in Africa discover remote opportunities and local African roles without getting lost in vague listings.
We focus on giving each job a clear eligibility signal so users can quickly tell whether a listing is truly open to applicants in Africa, or whether it is likely to be US-only or otherwise restricted.
We collect listings from multiple job sources, score them for Africa-friendliness, and present them in a clean interface with clear labels and easy filtering.
Many remote job boards are optimized for global applicants but do not clearly indicate where a role is actually open. AfroRemote bridges that gap by helping African candidates spend less time guessing and more time applying.
The eligibility stamp is an estimate based on the information available in each listing. We encourage users to read the full job description before applying and to verify requirements directly with the employer.
Listings on AfroRemote are aggregated from several public job boards: Jobicy, Arbeitnow, Remotive, Remote OK, Himalayas, and The Muse. Job pages on this site don't otherwise credit or link back to these boards individually — this page is where that sourcing is disclosed.
Remotive listings are shown as an excerpt only, with a link back to the original Remotive posting, in line with their API terms.
